ABOUT US

​​The objective of Castle Bromwich Singers is to encourage the development of individual's talents and to promote the enjoyment of popular music.

​One Tuesday evening in April 1967, after seeing a post card in the window of a local greengrocers, asking for singers. Six ladies met at a house in Poplars Drive for the first rehearsal of the Castle Bromwich Choral Society, later renamed to Castle Bromwich Singers.

​

​Now in our 57th year the membership expanded to includes musicians, led by Musical Director Stella Aston.
​Behind the scenes are the following teams Stage Management, Lighting and Sound, Wardrobe, kitchen, and front of house, led by Greg Thomas. Each of these teams play an important role.

Castle Bromwich Singers endeavour to connect with the community to bring music and song to those in residential homes and to well-being communities. We sing to bring enjoyment and evoke strong memories. We can help you celebrate a special occasion, performing a wide repertoire of songs, from the musicals, the charts etc and from the 40’s to 80’s and beyond, changing our repertoire to suit the occasion. The proceeds from our performances go to our chosen annual charity.
